This is an All-Access Competition Season Pass for all ages 6-69 years old, NO Blackout dates or Restrictions. This season pass is only available to Competition Program participants and their immediate family members.
This program is designed for intermediate and advanced skiers ages 6 through 10 (by 12/31/24) to prepare them for competition. Participants are expected to attend all training sessions on both weekend days. Training emphasis will be on strengthening existing skiing skills and developing the initial steps of racing technique. Participants in this program will be divided into classes by age and ability. All children ready for this program should be capable of riding the chair lift without an adult and be able to follow directions in their groups. New participants to the program may be subject to a tryout to assess that they maintain the appropriate skiing skills the first weekend of the Program in December 2024. Program is scheduled to start Dec 14, 2024* and run every Saturday and Sunday through Feb 23, 2025. Program times are 9:00a to 1:00p. U10/U12 Program is for alpine skiers up to age 11 as of 12/31/24 that are interested in learning advanced racing techniques. Athletes will compete in sanctioned events competing against others that race in Pennsylvania. Candidates must have trained with a race development program for at least one season to be eligible. Athletes that have an established US Ski profile with at least one full season of racing history are also eligible. Athletes must be interviewed and evaluated prior to enrolling in this program. Any participant new to the program will be subject to tryouts at the beginning of the program. Program is scheduled to start Dec 14, 2024* and run every Saturday and Sunday through Feb 23, 2025. The U16 Program is for alpine skiers ages 14 and 15 as of 12/31/24. Athletes in this age class race at a high level of competition in a series of 7 races across the State of Pennsylvania. Some athletes may qualify to race at regional and national events. These athletes compete on challenging race courses on difficult terrain. Candidates must have an established US Ski racing profile with one or more seasons of racing history. Athletes must be evaluated by Blue Mountain coaching staff to enroll. Any participant new to the program will be subject to tryouts at the beginning of the program. Program is scheduled to start Dec 14, 2024* and run every Saturday and Sunday through Feb 23, 2025. Participants must attend both weekend sessions. Training times are 8:00a to 1:00p. Race days start earlier and can run all day. Athletes are responsible for maintaining an active USSS membership and away race costs including race fees, lift tickets, travel, and lodging. The U18/U21 Program is for serious alpine competitors ages 16 to 20 as of 12/31/2024. Athletes in this age class race at a high level of competition in a series of 8 races across the State of Pennsylvania. Some athletes may qualify to race at regional and national events. These athletes compete on challenging race courses on difficult terrain. Athletes must have an established US Ski racing profile with multiple seasons of race history. Candidates must be evaluated by Blue Mountain coaching staff to enroll. Any participant new to the program will be subject to tryouts at the beginning of the program. Program is scheduled to start Dec 14, 2024* and run every Saturday and Sunday through Feb 23, 2025. Participants must attend both weekend sessions. Training times are 8:00a to 1:00p. Race days start earlier and can run all day. Athletes are responsible for maintaining an active USSS membership and away race costs including race fees, lift tickets, travel, and lodging. At this level, an FIS license may be required depending on the level of competition. Additional Alpine training sessions are held every Tuesday. Training times are 4:30pm to 6:00pm. This training is scheduled to start January 7, 2025 and end February 26, 2025. Extended training will better prepare our racers for the demands of competition. This program is limited to those racers who are presently enrolled in our Junior Racing Program and are competing in PARA at the U12 to U21 level. Note- training may be canceled due to weather not conducive for safe training or if race hill is being prepared for race events.
